How to sign up as a seller on EIG Marketplace?
1. Go to https://marketplace.eig88.com/merchant/onboard/ and click “Google +”.
2. Login into a Gmail Account used by your company or create a new gmail email account (eg. XXXcompany.firstname.lastname@example.org).
3. You will use this email solely for logining into your seller account.
Can I use the seller account if I want to buy on EIG Marketplace?
EIG Buyer Platform requires you to use another email address different from your seller email login for purchasing. (eg. XXXcompany.email@example.com )

While registering as a seller, how do I fill in the “Company Email” field?
The purpose for the “Company Mail” is for EIG to send notification email when there is an order or payment. You are encouraged to input a sales email address which is frequently used. Please note that it doesn’t need to be an gmail email account address.
How should I fill in the “Date Of Purchase”?
You can treat the “Date Of Purchase” as your shipment receive date or manufacturing date. We encourage you to fill in this field for it to be a fair trade on EIG. As our platform focuses on excess inventory it is usually price sensitive and generally older products are going for discounted prices.
What is “Registration number”?
“Registration number” is the number of the company officially registered with the respective government locally, for exemple, Unique entity number (UEN) registered with Singapore ACRA is the registered number for the company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore.
What is the security PIN?
The PIN is a 4-digit number which acts as an added security feature for you to access the confidential information pages in the seller portal.
What if I forget my password when I login in my google account?
If you are unable to remember your password or username, click on “Forget password?” and retrieve your username/password via Google.
Why can’t see the full image when I upload a product image?
Image sizing needs to be in 1:1 ratio, a square image for the whole picture to appear nicely. To upload a product Image, select “Browse”, choose an image from your computer then click “Continue”. You can upload a maximum of 6 images.
What if I don’t know how to price my items?
You are encourage to put a discounted price base on your excess inventory value. Putting market price would discourage buyers from buying as they could get the goods from their direct suppliers. Alternatively you can put the price as 0, when pricing is sensitive, and on EIG it would display as “Contact Supplier” .
I can’t find the right category for my item!
If you can’t find the right category for your items, simply drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will review your request and add in the category.
I am facing problems with the Mass Upload feature.
Product Inventory List
1. Download the “Sample.csv” file
2. Select the “Date of Purchase” column and change the format to “TEXT” format and key in the date as DD/MM/YYYY
3. Search the “Category ID” on the mass upload page by chosing the relevant category, and there will be a 4-digit number that appears at the bottom.
4. Search for the “Condition ID” by clicking on the Condition Table.
5. Save the file as a .CSV file
6. Upload the file.
Images for Inventory List
1. Prepare a folder with all the images of the uploading inventory
2. Ensure that all images are in “.jpg or .png “file format
3. Ensure that image title is accurately copied into the Product Inventory List (sample.csv)
4. Select the folder, right click, compress the folder into a zip file
5. Upload the zip file
Alternatively, download the CSV file in the Mass Upload page and fill in your inventory details. Next, email that CSV file together with your images (in a zip) file to email@example.com
How do I edit items?
Click on the “pencil” icon on each product listing to edit item.
After you have finished editing the item details, you can do the following actions:
Save: By clicking Save, changes made will all be saved. However, item is still not visible to consumers.
Cancel: By clicking Cancel, all changes made will not be saved. You will be directed back to the Inventory Listings page.
Publish: By clicking Publish, the item will be published to the consumer portal and is visible to the buyers. All changes will be saved.
Republish: This button is available for items that are already visible to the buyers.
How do I delete the items?
Go to the inventory lists and select "X" to delete the items.
Fulfilment Order and Logistic Section
How do I check my offers and orders?
1) You can view your offers in the “Orders” column on the seller portal.
2)After buyer makes an offer, the offer condition will be shown in “Orders” “Offers” column. Alternatively an email will be sent to you and you can click on the button provided.
3)After payment has been made by the buyer, “Offers” will change into “Open Orders” and you can view them on the seller portal. Alternatively an email will be sent to you and you can click on the button provided.
4)After order has been acknowledged by buyer, “Open orders” will change into “Order history” and you can view them on the seller portal. Alternatively an email will be sent to you and you can click on the button provided.
When will supplier receive payments from successful orders?
Once the buyer received the item, they are encouraged to acknowledge receipt of the goods within 45 days. Upon confirmed the acknowledgement, EIG will release the funds after deducting the transaction fee.
EIG will take the initiative to reach out to both seller and buyer to investigate the status of the order upon 45 days. If the order is proved to be completed by either party, EIG will release the money to seller.
Are there any listing fees or other fees EIG charge?
There are no charges for listing items on EIG Marketplace. The only fee that is charged is a 7% to 12% transaction fee upon successful sale of your product. Please take note that the transaction fee is non-refundable after payment.

What are the qualifying conditions you must fulfill to claim PIC benefits?

How do I pay the multiple products from different merchants?
Click “Cart” -> “Ready to Checkout” on the top right corner of the page. You can checkout all products simultaneously.
Can I cancel my offer?

Logistics and Dispute Section
When will sellers arrange the delivery of the item?
After payment is being made and confirmed, seller can begin to prepare product packaging and delivery issues.
How to acknowledge the order?
14 days after Buyers make the payment, EIG will send you an email to confirm if you have received products. You can confirm your order through email.
How can I raise a dispute?

How am I protected as a buyer?
EIG provides Escrow Assurance as an protection for buyers. EIG will hold on to the payment of order for 45 days before releasing it to the seller or till buyers acknowledge that the order has been received without disputes.

What is EIG Marketplace?
EIG Marketplace is a B2B marketplace platform that deals exclusively in excess inventory of the commercial and industrials materials, goods and products. It provides a virtual market to allow the seller and buyer to market, source, negotiate and set up their trade terms and conditions on a secured payment environment.
Does EIG Marketplace issue tax invoice?
No, EIG Marketplace is an online platform. EIG is not responsible for issuing the tax invoice. You should contact seller for invoice issue.
Who should the seller issue the tax invoice to? The buyer name or EIG Marketplace？
The seller should issue the tax invoice to buyer name.
How to choose shipping methods?
Shipping method is choosen when offer is being made and either party can change the arrangement and send a new arrangement with an updated offer.
a) Shipping prepared by Buyer
Buyer will self-collect the item or use their own preferred courier service. There will be no action on seller’s part other than to ensure goods are available by the courier pick-up date.
b) Shipping prepared by Seller
Seller will arrange for delivery of item to buyer.
“Expected Receipt Date” means the date when the buyer receive the item.
Please note that seller have to state their shipping cost into the offer as shipping cost is not inclusive in the product price.
What if buyer doesn’t receive the products 45 days from the date of payment?
We encourage the buyer to:

What if there are some problem with the product I receive?
If you face problems like:
1) Item quality dispute (fully or partially): please provide evidence and contact to supplier immediately and negotiate an agreement to resolve the issue.
2) Item damage (fully or partially): please provide evidence and contact to supplier immediately and negotiate an agreement to resolve the issue.
3) Item quantity dispute: please contact EIG immediately and tell us to freeze the payment temporarily and negotiate an agreement to resolve the issue.
Please raise the dispute to EIG at https://www.eig88.com/submit-a-dispute/ if the issue has not been resolved. EIG will freeze the payment until dispute has been dissolved.
How will the buyer get refunded?
Seller has to verify that the returned products are in the same condition as shipped out before EIG releases the money back to the buyer.
Please note that, for all returns, the original product packaging and price tags must be returned along with the item. If not, the return will not be accepted. /p>
